The castle chapel with its wall paintings from the late 15th century can still be used today for baptisms and marriages.Ī 2.5 hectare large park, that was created around 1840 and impressively illustrates the various fashions in the history of garden art, is located next to the castle. Exhibits ranging from neo-Gothic dining rooms to knights' suits of armor to a Turkish smoking parlor: the exhibit rooms of the living museum display Bernese residential culture dating back to the time period of the 16th to the 19th century.
