![]() ![]() Just make sure Origin is not running whne using EA Desktop. ![]() Then try running the game from that launcher and see if it works. If not, try download, install and run that EA Desktop app, with same EA/Origin account that you have TS4. You can also try installing Origin app in different drive location, to see if it makes any difference.Īnother thing is have you tried EA Desktop or EAApp Open Beta? Not sure if this is fixed recently, but I'm not surprise if it still not fixed.Īnd is your Origin installed in the same drive as The Sims 4? Not necessary means they are in same folder, just with the same drive like C:/ or D:/ or etc.īecause I can see there might be issue with Origin itself that possibly requires Admin mode (try option 'run as Admnistrator' for Origin and then run TS4) and to make sure the Origin appdata folder has like Admin permission to access. Basically, Origin wants to find TS4 Origin version, rather than Steam version, so they don't look at the Steam version, thus the message of game is not installed. I believe TS4 copy that activated through EA Play have some issue with Origin account license link, which can cause 'the game is not installed on PC' bug. Is your The Sims 4 game purchased through Steam or activated with EA Play subscription?
